July 3, 2009 ~ A Tip for Dry Skin

When I was first diagnosed with cancer, a dear woman who I’ve never met sent me the most thoughtful gift and I’ve made excellent use of it over the past year. She was a coworker of my brother-in-love, and she had learned of my diagnosis and wanted to help – and help she did!
She had a loved one go through a similar battle and she had come to know the ravages of chemotherapy on the patient’s skin. I’ve been no different – my skin is dry, dry, dry! And with all the nosebleeds I’ve had, the skin between my nose and mouth have taken a particular beating, and if it weren’t for the supplies she sent, I don’t know what I would’ve done. I suppose it would’ve taken hours of research and much trial-and-error to find this set of products that are better than anything else I’ve tried for dry skin.
I doubt that I’m the only one experiencing these kinds of problems, so I recommend that you try Cetaphil products. Particularly the moisturizing cream! At times my skin has been so raw that it’s bled, but the Cetaphil moisturizing cream makes an immediate difference, and I always use it just before going to bed so it can “do its thing” while I sleep. It amazes me with its healing properties!
I haven’t shared a lot of recommendations here, but this one is too good not to pass along! Click here go to their website and find out where you can buy these great products. I hope you love them as much as I do! I’ll always be grateful that someone so generous and caring gave me such a precious and thoughtful gift.
